Padel Rivals arrives on Roblox

Today Padel Rivals reaches a new platform. Alongside the PC and console game we are developing, we have released a version of Padel Rivals on Roblox. It is free, it plays on phones, tablets, PCs and consoles, and you can play it now.

Why Roblox

We wanted Padel Rivals to reach people who would never install a PC game, and to be something groups of friends and families can pick up and play together in a couple of minutes. Roblox gives us that. It runs on almost any device, there is nothing else to install once you have Roblox, and playing with friends is part of how the platform works.

It is also a different way of working for us. The Roblox version has its own code, written for the platform, which lets us ship updates and events quickly and see straight away what players enjoy.

What the Roblox version is

It is fast 2v2 arcade padel. The game keeps the walls, the lobs and the smashes, but matches are short and every good shot charges a power bar. When the bar is full, the next shot becomes a Meteor, Thunder, Freeze or Quake that sends the rivals flying, freezes them or stuns them for a moment.

Bots fill every empty spot, so a match starts as soon as you join. The bot partner covers the side the player leaves open, and the rival bots adapt to each player's level. Friends who follow you or accept your invite land directly in your match, on your team. There are four courts from Padel Rivals, and the game is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and German.

How we approach purchases

Many people on Roblox are young, so we set some rules from the start. The game is free to play. Purchases are optional and show their price in Robux before you confirm. There are no paid random items or loot boxes, no countdowns or pressure to buy, and nothing you buy gives an advantage in a match, because powers unlock by levelling up and are balanced against each other. What you can buy is cosmetic, along with coin packs and a VIP pass that doubles the coins you earn.

For now Roblox only shows the game to players aged 16 and over who have verified their age. It will reach younger players once Roblox completes its review.

Padel Rivals on PC carries on

The Roblox version does not replace the PC and console game. Padel Rivals on PC is in Playtest on Steam and we keep working towards its release in 2027. They are two different games under the same name, made by the same team, and each one plays its own way.

You can play now on Roblox. On the Padel Rivals website you will find the current codes and more information for parents. For the launch, the codes LAUNCH, KROKANTI and PADELRIVALS give free coins in the game.
